Rooted in John 15:16

Go and bear fruit —
fruit that abides.

“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide; so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.”John 15:16, ESV

Abyde helps your church follow up every soul — a fitting scripture, a warm text, sent every week without fail.

How it works

Three quiet steps, once a week.

Step 1

Upload your list

Excel or copy-paste. Names, numbers, and a note about each person.

Step 2

A verse finds each person

Abyde reads the note and drafts a short scripture message — from a clergy-approved verse bank. You approve every word.

Step 3

Sent every week, without fail

Saturday 6pm, paced gently. Plain SMS — no app, no data needed.

The message is the ministry.

Five lines. One verse. Their name. Your service time.

Every message arrives as an ordinary text — no app to install, no data to buy, nothing to learn. It reads like it came from a person who cares, because one approved it.

Church

Built for the shepherd, not the algorithm.

You approve everything

Nothing sends without a human yes. Every draft waits in your approval queue until a leader reads it.

Sensitive cases go to a person

Grief and crisis are flagged for a pastoral call, never auto-texted. Some moments need a voice, not a message.

Their data is protected

Consent recorded from day one, NDPA-compliant, and an opt-out in every message.

Everything a follow-up team needs

Excel template import
Weekly, monthly or quarterly scheduler
Approval queue
Care list
Attendance and funnel analytics
Prepaid SMS credits in naira

Questions pastors ask

Who writes the messages?

Abyde drafts them from your members' prayer points using a clergy-reviewed verse bank; a leader approves every message before anything sends.

Is it doctrinally safe?

Verses come only from an approved bank your church can review; messages never promise outcomes, give advice, or mention money. Anything sensitive is routed to a person instead.

Which Bible versions do you use?

KJV, WEB, ASV and other trusted public-domain versions at launch; licensed versions like NIV are coming as an add-on.

Do our members need internet or an app?

No. Messages arrive as ordinary SMS on any phone.

How do we add our people?

Download our Excel template, fill it (or copy-paste from your existing sheet), and upload. Duplicates are merged automatically.

What does sending cost?

You buy prepaid credits in naira — about ₦20–22 per message page. A church of 500, texting weekly, spends roughly ₦70,000–75,000 a month on credits.

What about people on Do-Not-Disturb (DND) lines?

We send through the DND-approved route by default, so your messages reach MTN, Glo and Airtel numbers with DND enabled.

Can someone stop receiving messages?

Yes — every message carries an opt-out link, and one tap stops everything permanently. Consent is recorded from the day they're added.

…that your fruit should abide.
